Microneedling (SkinPen)

Microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure that utilizes a pen-like device that creates controlled micro-injuries to generate new collagen and skin tissue for smoother, firmer, more toned skin. When microneedling is combined with PRP (platelet-rich plasma), the procedure can be referred to as a PRP Facial — or one you have seen popular stars such as Kim Kardashian promote. PRP promotes healing and stimulates rapid cell growth.

Microneedling is primarily used on the face to treat wrinkles, acne scars and enlarged pores. However, it can be used to treat scarring and stretch marks on other areas of the body as well as the scalp for hair loss.

A minimum of 4 treatments 4–6 weeks apart are recommended for best results. An in-office consultation is required prior to scheduling the first treatment.
